Islam is the second largest and the fastest growing religion in the world. Today Islam is the most discussed religion in the media, but at the same time, according to many, it is the most misunderstood religion as well. Certainly there are political reasons who contribute to this, but it is also partially because of the fact that interest in knowing more about Islam and Muslim affairs has grown so fast that qualified scholars could not cope with the high demand and as a result there remained some gap that sometimes unqualified people filled. The other problem is that despite all the great things that Muslims share sometimes so much attention is paid to the differences that outsiders may get confused about what really Islam is.
